The cabin at Karama Lodge was absolutely breathtaking! I mean, seriously, the wooden balcony had these super comfy chairs where you could kick back and just soak in the epic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Meru, and the Maasai steppes. And don't get me started on the lush vegetation and birdlife surrounding the place – it was like stepping into a nature paradise!
I guess if I had to nitpick, some people might find the views a bit overwhelming, but hey, that's just me.

I stayed in a beautiful lodge surrounded by a lush rainforest. the small bungalow had a balcony with stunning views. the property felt safe with a gate and security guard. the bar and restaurant had a cozy ambiance and served a mix of European and Tanzanian dishes. the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. There was a gift shop selling local crafts at the reception. I enjoyed relaxing by the small pool in the peaceful garden area.
It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and even spot some wildlife. Cons: No complaints, 😊.

The hilltop lodges at this hotel offer stunning views of the surrounding green hills and even Mt. Meru. the rooms are comfortable and clean, with lovely balconies to relax on. the staff are friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool or relax in the lounge area. the food served here is also delicious, ensuring a satisfying dining experience.
One aspect that may be a concern for light sleepers is the noise from a nearby club that can be heard during the night.

The scenic views of the surrounding valley were breathtaking, especially during my Christmas stay. The lush greenery and vibrant flowers added to the picturesque atmosphere. the well-kept grounds provided a peaceful and serene environment to relax and unwind. The staff were friendly and always willing to assist with any needs.
My stay was marred by several negative experiences. First, the noise level was unbearable, particularly during the festive period.

We stayed at Karama Lodge for a relaxing stay before our safari. The setting, nestled in a forest up the hills, was absolutely beautiful. The pool area was a nice place to unwind and the friendly staff made us feel welcome. The hotel's infrastructure and the availability of the staff really stood out. The restaurant served outstanding dinners and the view from our room, as well as the bar and restaurant, was fantastic. Eliaika went above and beyond to book a perfect safari for us.
